“Breaking the Silence”

At times in our lives we experience a crippling silence. We are not sure that our prayers are heard. We ask for answers that don’t seem to come. We wonder if God has abandoned us.

We learn this week about the historical account in Jewish history when the people, after suffering in exile, now return to their homeland to rebuild their beloved Jerusalem. They have a surprise awaiting them, confirming that even in the silence God is always there.
