As we continue to celebrate MCC’s 50th Anniversary, this sermon is inspired from our second decade 1978-1988. In the coming weeks, we will hear stories of MCC’s history and sing songs of joy, love, faith, and justice. We will remember those who died of AIDS and others who fought to make the leaders of the world name and recognize the AIDS epidemic. We remember the individuals, particularly women, who decided to lead in love rather than fear. Readings: Poem: “Day’s Last Dawn”; John 11:3-7, 17, 20-27, 33-44.
